Maybe marketing today is focused more on buyers who look for the sound of “Dart Vader”, or have some “psycho delirium” meditation! But …. if You actually show some more practical examples with voices and instruments, maybe even some musicians would buy it! 😉 Now since i already have it, i appreciate Your brief user instruction tips! 😊 👍🏻

The micro for the voice goes to a Tc helicon voicelive pedal to the mixer too. But i do not know if i have conexions to do this configuration. In short, two XLR from mixer to Maui. Is it posible? The purpose of this demo is to showcase how the software works. Liking the song or thinking it's 'worth' mastering is subjective and we already know your opinion on it, similarly to how other people have commented that they like actually like it. The feature would be much more useful if it was not limited to real-time matching. Newfangled folks, please allow the user to create and save eq match "curves" to recall later so a new reference track does not have to be sidechained/learned in real time. The EQ Match feature in Pro-Q is a good example of this type of workflow. In effect, the user can create a library of reference tracks. I do prefer the end results with EQuivocate more than using Pro-Q or any other plug-ins that I've tried. Thanks for the video.

    Just came across this video; it is 7 years later! :) Anyhow, I just found out about these Lo-z to Hi-Z Transformers. I just purchased one which came today. WOW, WHAT A SIGNIFICANT VOLUME INCREASE FROM MY SM58!!! I did consider the Little IMP but decided on a SHURE A85F as I have two SM58 mics and a Shure Beta 58A. As to my setup, real simple: I use a Bose S1 Pro PA speaker which has 2 mic/line XLR inputs. It DOES NOT have Phantom power support. I have one and I am fairly satisfied! I will also note that with a electric violin and accoustic - electric violin this works with amplifying it out too! Don't buy a non battery powered Maui 5 if you require a dedicated output to connect to another Maui or any other speaker. I assumed that it would have a dedicated XLR or jack output like its competition but it's only available on the Maui 5 GO and Maui 5 go 100. If you use an external mixer with a pair of non battery powered Maui 5s then it's much less of an issue. Saying that, if you only plan to use the Maui 5 on its own and want to send its signal to a larger main system, then you're commonalty out of luck! I stupidly didn't check the specs properly and realised this limitation once I got it home. Thankfully I was able to sell it and get my money back which I then put towards a Maui 5 GO. • @Trainingsnacks
      @Trainingsnacks 2 роки тому

      That really depends on the flexibility of the mixer. The MixingLink only has one microphone input and one preamp. You could certainly go into this before the channel strip. If you're thinking of sending multiple mics channels from the mixer, they would probably have already gone through the preamp stage and you may encounter some gain-staging issues. You could probably set it up on an Aux if you wanted to use it as a you would any other effect pedal.

    I was hoping this was for realigning tracks which are slightly misaligned in relation to one another. I notice a syndrome since I switched to DAWs about 10 years ago. Once a computer is about 2 or 3 years old, tracks recorded in a DAW will start going slightly out of sync with one another. "Nudging" tracks is a bad joke. Only about twice have I ever successfully aligned a track back in sync to the song. But the vast majority of the time, "nudging" is a wild goose chase. Or, Can this be used for that purpose..? If there were software which could de-retard an aging DAW, that would be the best thing ever.

    Can the plug in do all the weird stuff the original H-3000 could do, in terms of modulated delays and pitch shifting, as guitarists like Steve Vai or Henry Kaiser used it for?

    • @Trainingsnacks
      @Trainingsnacks 2 роки тому

      As you might be aware, the original H3000 had several different ROMs that could add effects to the unit. This particular software title is everything that came with the H3000 Factory ROM. It has many modulated delays and pitch shifting algorithms but your best bet is download the 30-day fully-functional demo to make sure it has what you're looking for.

    @Training Snacks, question for you! I have a pcdi that I want to use with my Alto ZMX 52 mixer to drive two powered 15" speakers. The Alto mixer produces UNBALANCED outputs (L&R) but I want to send BALANCED signals to the speakers some distance away. Can I send the unbalanced output of the mixer to the pcdi and then onto the speakers OR should the pcdi always be BEFORE the mixer???? Or do I need two pcdi boxes, one outputting TO the mixer and another taking the unbalanced signal from the mixer and outputting to the powered speakers?

    • @Trainingsnacks
      @Trainingsnacks 2 роки тому

      We would try putting the PCDI after the mixer and before the speakers.

    Hi how do you connect this to a tv?

    • @Trainingsnacks
      @Trainingsnacks 2 роки тому

      It depends on the audio output your TV has but the easiest way would be to use a dual RCA (from TV) to 1/8th inch (3.5mm) cable to the 1/8th inch MP3 input of the Maui 5.

    Because of this video, I bought one of this, and find out this is abusolutly garbage, feed back cacelling do not perform like this video at all, very poor horizontal and vertical coverage, no high frequency extension at all, I guess this 3 inch speaker goes upto 10-12khz at the most.

    • @Trainingsnacks
      @Trainingsnacks 2 роки тому

      You can see us do it honestly in the video. Not sure why it's not working for you unless they changed the cabinet design (the video is over 5 years old). As for the quality, it is a relatively inexpensive item considering what it is and usually with pro audio you get what you pay for. That being said, we found the system great for the value at the time of the review. Also note, we get no compensation for the sale of this item so it's of no value of us to trick people in our video. Our suggestion would be to contact their customer support. www.ld-systems.com/en/support/

    Can it pair with an other unit in tws mode for real stereo left/right sound!?

    • @Trainingsnacks
      @Trainingsnacks 2 роки тому

      It does not have a stereo linking feature so you’d have to use a small mixer and then have the left output go into one unit and the right into another.

  • @hugeshows
    @hugeshows 2 роки тому

    I'm not sure I understand the feature. While I'm sure the Eventide pedal could potentially swap its inputs and outputs, how would the MXR pedal you show ever do that? The only way I could see this working is if all the pedals were essentially the same hardware and some orchestration software simply switches which pedal is running which software invisibly in the background, effectively re-patching your pedals. Like if you had a TimeFactor and a Space pedal hooked together, and they could theoretically run each other's effects software because they had the same hardware, you could invisibly switch which one was 'first' in the chain. But other than that hypothetical, I'm bending my mind to figure out how this works, and I've built complex pro studio patch bays in a previous life.

    • @Trainingsnacks
      @Trainingsnacks 2 роки тому

      The MXR pedal is not swapping anything. Traditionally you would have to unplug the MXR and move it before or after in the signal chain. In this example, you can keep it hooked up as always, let’s say the MXR before the Eventide, but then internally the Eventide can swap the processing and output the signal as such. Give it a try and it’ll be easier to wrap your head around it.

    Can the Mics be routed from Virtual instrument busses?

    • @Trainingsnacks
      @Trainingsnacks 2 роки тому

      The mics don't have any routing capabilities. Mic 1 has a compressor, mics two and three have gates, and all three can be varied by gain and panning. It's more about the technique of using three mics on the same source in different areas of the room.
